Inhibit Cew present this midweek Dubstep club event, featuring the UK's Broken Note (Ad Noiseam, Peace Off, Subdivision, Prspct). "Raised on a diet of pure filth, the Broken Note duo are bringing their own unique sound to the electronic music scene. Combining lean, considered production skills with an appreciation of diverse rough beats, they have quickly established themselves as a sonic force to be reckoned with. Some of their recent and forthcoming releases can only very loosely be described as Dubstep, with little in common with much of the scene's output. Instead they draw from the Sino-Rastafarian sound and heavy bass; but also combine this with more of the kind of dark and aggressive beats that can be found in Breakcore and Jungle. Their Drum and Bass is similarly disturbingly brutal, with undulating beats and bass that are unushamed to draw from the darkly edgey sounds of Gabba and Techno. It delivers a rhythmic pounding that has set dancefloors around the world on fire with its astonishing heaviness. The result is both at home in clubs and the vast expanse of a decaying urban warehouse, inspiring visions of a dark and techy future for their music. A description of their most recent release was pegged as "The darkest, most frightening tunes that've ever found their way onto vinyl". Their live sets are currently based around Ableton Live, utilizing various midi controllers and FX running with on the spot warping, cueing and live key work. The content tends to be a mash up of everything from dark dubstep to hardtekno, the most evil dnb to hardcore; playing many of their own tunes but mixing these with music by those who they draw inspiration from. They are both diverse and interesting, as well as being guaranteed to be one of the highlights of any night at which they are playing".

Damien Blaze - has been DJing around Australia for over 13 years. He has supported many of the worlds top DJ's at festivals, raves and club events alike including Infected Mushroom, Sander Van Doorn, Scot Project, Blutonium Boy, Organ Donors, Simon Patterson, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk and many more. He is regarded as the number one Hard Dance DJ in the state, taking out the title for best Hard House / Hard Dance DJ 3 years running at the 2001, 2003 & 2004 Teknoscape Dance Music Awards. (*Note there were no awards in 2002). Damien Blaze will be playing a Hard Dance set for Dominate and in his own words it will be "nasty and twisted".
FaNaTIK Live PA - have been performing in Perth since 1992, these days comprised of DJ Hutcho and Dan (Force). Playing everything from nasty Breaks, Gabber, Schranz and heavy Hardcore, Oldschool, Drum and Bass and more. Incorperating live elements into their act to bring an experience unlike anyone else is delivering today. This one should be interesting, make sure you don't miss this.
Maloonatic started djing in 1995 playing events in Scotland such as Fusion, Brainfire and Gabberdeen. He has supported the likes of Paul Elstak, Chosen Few, Smurf, GGM M-Zone, Bass-X, Chill FM, Bass Generator and more. In 2003 he moved to Australia and in 2007 was picked up by FORCE as a resident DJ, playing every one of their events since. Playing a mix of Gabber (non mainstream), Hardcore Techno, Hard Techno, Industrial, Frenchcore with a bit of Turntablism. He will be playing a Hardcore set for Dominate.

Metrik (UK) - (aka Tom Mundell) is fast becoming one of the most talked about names in drum and bass. With his name on the lips of the worlds biggest DJ’s, Metrik is much in demand as remixer, being the first port of call for artists such as Eric Prydz, Sasha, Stanton Warriors, Funkstar Deluxe & Skepta who are looking for a fresh and innovative take on their biggest tracks. Back in 2007 Metrik released the anthemic soulful refrain of 'Your World' on Intrinsic Recordings, it was this which captured the attention of some of the scenes biggest names from Bad Company and Pendulum to Fresh and London Elektricity. The Toneshifterz - Elie Abwi and Olcay Ertek started in mid of 2009, but before this Elie produced UK Hardcore, House, trance and electro while Olcay was also producing UK Hardcore and Gabber. Then after the opportunity arose in Australia with the arrival of Q-Dance this opened up many oppurtunities for the Australian Born and bred Duo. They decided to begin producing hardstyle together, and from then on wards, they haven’t looked back! They are bringing Australian hardstyle to a totally new level, and have now placed the country down under, on the map. Even though they are still fairly new in the hardstyle scene, in 2009 they had a massive response to their music, gathering support from massive artists from the top… Within their first year, coming from Australia, they are now Due to be playing at Defqon1, and to be launching there European tour in October this year! The Toneshifterz now are, and have been signed to the renowned Fusion Records and have had some massive releases that started with “Sahara”. After that they we’re honored enough to work with the talented and most awarded hardstyle artists in the scene at the moment, the ‘Noisecontrollers’ on their second release collaborating the tracks “Jaydee” and “Empire of the Sun” which both were massive hits in early 2010! Then in May 2010 they were asked to write the Anthem for the Magic City 2010 party and also to perform an Exclusive ‘Live’ set, taking there popularity to a new level. (with Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella), he participated in the birth of the Gangsta Rap genre and cut electro classics like ‘Something 2 Dance 2’, ‘Panic Zone’ and ‘Dope Man’. As a producer he cut the classic ‘Supersonic’ for JJ Fad (that was reworked by Fergie in 2007)... and a slew of other hits on Dream Team Records and Macola. As a solo artist he has released albums such as ‘Brother Arab’, ‘Where's My Bytches’ and ‘Situation Hot’, plus the Stone’s Throw anthology of last year ‘Innovative Life’. Arabian Prince's story is undeniable. D-Block & S-te-Fan - Diederik Bakker and Stefan den Daas are two hardstyle artists from The Netherlands. They started co-producing in 2004. Bakker grew up with his father producing electronic music, which allowed him to learn musical skills very early in his childhood. Daas' inspiration comes from Happy Hardcore, which he was a large fan of in the 1990s. When they started to work as a team, they already performed at events such as Qlimax, DefQon 1, Thrillogy, and Q-Base. Originally, they owned their own label,"Next Chapter Records", however they were signed on with Scantraxx and now own their own Scantraxx sub label, Scantraxx Evolutionz. Bakker and Daas performed the musical anthem to Qlimax 2009, called "The Nature Of Our Mind". This was several months after their first album, Music Made Addictz, was released. D-Block & S-te-Fan have had several collaborations with M.C. Villain, Deepack, and DJ Coone. They also did a remix of the Headhunterz & Wildstylez track "Blame it on the Music," which was featured on Headhunterz' 2010 Studio Sessions album".

To be honest it was a WICKED night with so many old faces turning out for this very special get together...I will be honest though, personally (and i know i'm not alone here) the music was some of the most boring long versions of crap tracks I've heard in a long time...there's so many great House/aCiD tracks from '88-'91 that weren't played...Greg Packer & Dave Jackson saving the night and keeping the majority of the crowd there past 1am. That being said had a great social night catching up with faces I haven't seen in...well some cases nearly 20yrs!

Review by Dan - The air force 1 sound system didn't disappoint and was phatt all night (in my opinion that's how these gigs should be sounding) heaps of bass and clear top end sound... The hell arena was as NASTY as always = just the way we love it.. everyone was up for it and went pretty hard during the sets all the dj's & mc's i heard played awesome set's as always expected from the NIGHTMARE crew !!! Special shout out and respect to the crew who helped make the pack down that much easier - Carrie (Perth's #1 doorbitch), Exocet, Maloonatic, Steak etc etc - We generated a bit more money towards the beyond blue charity as well...sweet!
